Before appointment

The PM procedure is quite a complicated process. When going for the procedure, you must understand and be mentally prepared for the fact that you will receive the final result only a month after the correction. And this means that from the beginning of our friendship until the final result, at least 2 months will pass. The PM procedure is quite specific, so you need to be patient. Careful and punctual people will definitely want to know how to prepare for the procedure so that everything goes well. If you read this article and take into account the information contained in it, this will significantly improve the result and reduce the time of the procedure. It is worth noting the fact that for girls, the ideal period for the PM procedure is the middle of the monthly cycle. During this period, skin sensitivity is normalized and is in a stable state.

YOU MUST UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM PERMANENT MAKEUP
Yes, a beautiful correct shape and a suitable color can and should be selected by a specialist. But if you know approximately what you want, we will be able to select a suitable option in accordance with your wishes. In this case, you will get what you wanted taking into account the professional's adjustments. The color is usually selected to match the hair color, a tone darker or a tone lighter. The choice of pigment color for permanent makeup is not limited - from any shades of dark brown for brunettes to light brown for blondes. All pigments are mixed with each other, which gives an unlimited choice of shades.

Like any cosmetic or cosmetology procedure, PM has a number of contraindications. There are not many, but you should know them - forewarned is forearmed! If you are prone to allergies, be sure to warn the specialist about it. Pigments for PM are hypoallergenic, as a rule, there is no allergy to them, BUT it is necessary to remember that during the procedure the specialist uses anesthesia. Most anesthetics include Lidocaine. It is advisable to know whether you have had an allergic reaction to Lidocaine (dentists usually use Lidocaine or Ultracaine). Remember your visits to the dentist. In any case, warn the specialist that you are allergic, the specialist should know this.

1-2 MONTHS BEFORE THE PROCEDURE
If you have been treated with antibiotics or other strong medications, it is best to postpone the procedure.

DO NOT VISIT A COSMETOLOGIST ONE MONTH BEFORE THE PROCEDURE
Cosmetic procedures will have to be postponed. It is better to do permanent makeup before the botulinum therapy procedure (botox, dysport, etc.). But if you have already had injections, it is advisable to wait until the drug has fully set in and then do the tattooing. Cleanings, peelings, hyaluronic acid injections are also contraindicated at least a month before the tattooing procedure.

7-14 DAYS BEFORE THE PROCEDURE
There is no need to pluck the hairs yourself or visit a beautician for this! It is advisable to grow all the available hairs as long as possible. The more "field of action" we have, the more beautiful shape we can choose.

7 DAYS BEFORE PERMANENT MAKEUP LIPS
It is recommended to take special medications (Acyclovir, Valtrex). When preparing for PM lips, it is necessary to take care of herpes prevention. Microdamages accompanying the procedure reduce tissue immunity, which in turn contributes to the manifestation of this disease. If there is no predisposition, then you can start taking the drug 2-3 days before the procedure and continue taking it for 3 days after it.

THE DAY BEFORE THE PROCEDURE
Avoid: Aspirin-containing drugs, coffee, alcohol, energy drinks, seafood and other substances that can affect the condition of the blood and lymph. Avoid sunbathing. Remove eyelash extensions if you are going to have permanent eyelid makeup. You will also need to remove contact lenses immediately before the procedure.
