Clear Terms Before You Book


Permanent makeup is a detailed, time-based service that requires planning, preparation, professional setup, procedure time, documentation, and aftercare guidance.
This guide explains how pricing, deposits, rescheduling, cancellations, late arrivals, touch-up pricing, refunds, and appointment terms are handled at Shadés.
Clear policies protect your appointment time, the artist’s schedule, and the quality of the work.

What Your Appointment Price Includes


Your appointment price reflects the full professional service, not only the moment when pigment is placed.
Depending on the procedure, your appointment may include:
• Pre-procedure review.
• Treatment area assessment.
• Design planning.
• Color selection.
• Procedure time.
• Professional setup.
• Single-use materials where applicable.
• Before and after documentation.
• Aftercare instructions.
The exact details may vary depending on the treatment area, service type, and booking category.

Service Pricing


Each service has its own listed price.
Once we accept a case under a listed service, the listed service price applies.
A booked service must match the actual work being requested. If the requested work is different from the service booked, the appointment may need to be adjusted, changed to the appropriate service, or rescheduled.
If a case is not suitable for the selected service, we may recommend a different service, a consultation, different timing, or may decline to perform the procedure.

Deposit


A deposit is required to reserve your appointment.
Your deposit is applied toward your total appointment price unless stated otherwise.
Deposits are non-refundable.
The deposit holds a specific time in the schedule for you. Once that time is reserved, it is no longer available to another client.
If you need to change your appointment, please contact us as early as possible and follow the rescheduling policy below.

Rescheduling


Appointments must be rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
With at least 24 hours’ notice, your deposit can be transferred once to a new appointment date, depending on availability.
Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice results in loss of deposit and requires a new deposit to book again.
Repeated rescheduling may require approval before a new appointment is confirmed.

Cancellations


If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us as early as possible.
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice may allow the deposit to be transferred once to a future appointment, depending on availability.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment result in loss of deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable.

No-Show Policy


A no-show means the appointment was missed without proper notice.
No-shows result in loss of deposit.
A new deposit is required before booking another appointment.
Repeated no-shows may affect future booking eligibility.

Late Arrival


Please arrive on time.
Permanent makeup appointments require enough time for assessment, design, setup, procedure, photos, and final instructions.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and may be treated as a late cancellation.
If there is not enough time to perform the service properly, we will not rush the procedure.
Quality should not be compromised because the appointment starts late.

Touch-Up Pricing


Touch-up appointments are not automatically included unless specifically stated in your booking.
A touch-up may be recommended after healing, but it is not required for every client.
Touch-up availability and pricing are confirmed according to the booking terms at the time of scheduling.
Touch-up terms may depend on:
• The procedure performed.
• The healed result.
• How much time has passed since the initial appointment.
• Whether aftercare was followed.
• Whether the requested work is within the original treatment plan.
If the requested change goes beyond the original treatment plan, it may be considered a new procedure and must be booked under the appropriate service category.
Touch-ups scheduled outside the recommended window may follow current service pricing.

Price Changes


Prices may change over time.
A price is confirmed only when an appointment is booked according to the current terms.
Future appointments, touch-ups outside the recommended window, additional work, new treatment areas, or services booked later may follow current pricing at the time of booking.
Promotions, credits, or special pricing must be confirmed before booking and cannot be applied retroactively unless stated otherwise.

Refunds


Permanent makeup is a custom service performed on living skin.
Healed results can be influenced by skin type, healing response, aftercare, lifestyle, sun exposure, medications, and biological factors.
Because of this, results cannot be guaranteed with absolute precision.
We do not offer refunds for completed services.
If there is a concern, we review it professionally after the skin has healed and determine the appropriate next step.

Policy Exceptions


Any exception to the standard policy must be approved directly by Shadés.
Exceptions are not automatic and may depend on timing, circumstances, service type, schedule availability, and the nature of the request.
